We were able to celebrate with our awesome friends, Mikkel and Gabbi, on their wedding day this past Saturday. The had an awesome day at the University of St. Thomas and the Crowne Plaza in St. Paul after the ceremony. Only regret is we didn't get a picture of the beautiful bride. You'll just have to take our word for it, she was stunning!

Two Week Cram Session!

Barbri is officially over and I am on my own to learn, memorize, and do practice problems!  My exam is exactly two weeks from today. SCARY...but the end is so near ;) I thought I would do one last catch up blog post before burying myself in books.  Although I have been studying since May, I have still squeezed in many fun things over the last few weeks.

Tyler has been really helpful during this stressful time.  He has been trying to pick up more of the cleaning, grocery shopping and cooking responsibilities to help me out.  He also keeps things in perspective and tries to lighten the mood in our house.

These pictures are from awhile back when we went to dinner and to a St. Paul Saint's game.  Such a fun group of girls!

We celebrated my friend Greta's bachelorette party at the end of June with a weekend up north.  It was so much fun to get away with such a great group of high school friends.  There was constant laughter and it took me three days to get my voice back at the end of the weekend! We spent time bar hopping, relaxing at the beach and hanging out in our cabins.

At the beginning of July, one of my very best friends from college moved to Colorado.  I am so sad to see this girl go, but now I have an awesome place to visit.  I have no doubt we will be able to maintain our friendship long-distance and I can't wait to see where her new adventure brings her.

I missed Kacie's birthday night due to a 2 day simulated bar exam so Alicia's going away night out was also a belated celebration for her as well.

My family goes up to Alexandria every summer along with 12 other families.  Our group grows a little every year.  This year I wasn't planning on going because I needed to study but decided last minute to make the trip for Saturday and Sunday to get some time in the sun and with my family.

My parents, along with a few others in the vacation group, discovered pudding shots at Country Fest.  They made a bunch of different flavors for everyone - baileys and butterscotch, rumchatta and vanilla, kahlua and chocolate... yum :)

Summer vacation consists of lots of eating, laying out, going to the tiki bar, tubing/skiing, fishing, golfing, walking, bean bags, cards, reading, bonfires, drinking, etc.

Up next: Tyler's good friend, Mikkel, is getting married this Saturday and Tyler's Yahnke side of the family is going to be in town the following weekend.  We have a lot of fun things planned for after my exam (including 6 more weddings, camping, and a 2 week west coast road trip) so stay tuned!
