Milwaukee

This weekend Tyler and I made a way overdue trip to Milwaukee to visit two of our favorites, Judd and Bente.  Judd was Tyler's college roommate and both Judd and Bente were in our wedding party last May.  The roads were horrible on the way there.  It took us 7 1/2 hours (compared to the 5 1/2 it took us on the way home) and we witnessed the aftermath of 21 accidents!

 Friday night we went to a great burger place and then checked out the Milwaukee safe house.  Bente was the only one who knew the secret password so the rest of us had to pretend we were the Charlie's angels in order to get in.  We had fun watching other bar goers making fools of themselves on the T.V.s throughout the bar to gain admission into the safe house.  

The next morning we started the day off with brunch and bloody marys before heading to a brewery tour and a tour of the Marquette campus.  Judd was able to give us a tour of the inside of the dental school which Tyler enjoyed since the facilities are nice and new!

The brewery tour was a lot of fun!  We were given tokens for free beer during and after the tour and free glasses when we finished drinking. I highly recommend the Lakefront Brewery tour to anyone passing through Milwaukee!  We finished the night with pizza and card games.  The weekend was filled with great food, great beer, and great company!  Another trip to Milwaukee is definitely in our future.
