Hotlanta

A few weekends ago, Tyler and I made the long drive to Atlanta to visit one of our best friends, Sara, and her bf Jasper, who was also in town.  We left Friday after work and returned Sunday night.  The drive was long (just short of 7 hrs both ways) but totally worth it.  I think for our next visit we are going to pick somewhere between to meet.  We arrived around 12:15 am and stayed up another hour or so catching up.  Sara rents a house in a really nice neighborhood with four other ladies.  Sat. morning Jasper prepared us a traditional German breakfast.  We had eggs with onions and peppers, cheese, meat, rolls, salmon, nutella, and mimosas.  So good!  After we made our way to some parks and checked out the festivals that were going on.  We made our way down the beltline and relaxed and people watched at Piedmont park.

Jasper recently bought a skate board so we all had some fun with it.

The weather was so nice. Way hotter than expected and Tyler and I got our first sunburns of the season.  That night, Sara brought us to a cute neighborhood where we grabbed dinner at a Mexican restaurant, Pure.  Sara's roommates all hosted a party at their place to celebrate some birthdays.  It was great to meet some of Sara's coworkers and Jasper taught us a German drinking game ;)

All my pictures were blurry from the night

Sunday morning we went out for brunch at West Egg Cafe.  The place was crazy busy so we put our name in and then went for coffee elsewhere beforehand.  After, we had to try the famous Jeni's ice cream. Yum.

We always have such a great time with these two.  They are fun, up for anything and we always have the best conversations.  We committed to a 2015 Berlin trip so we have a lot to look forward to!
