We arrived home Sunday night from Christmas in MN, worked half days on Monday and then took off with NC friends to a cabin in the mountains for NYE.

We went skiing the first day - not a crazy big mountain but still a few decent black runs and still fun. They were actually making snow while we were skiing.
NYE night started out very fun but Tyler did not feel well in the afternoon and didn't eat much for dinner. He went to lay down around 9pm. When I went to check on him, he had a fever. It didn't take long until I started feeling sick. I woke up incredibly nauseous and had a fever for 6 hours straight. Tyler felt better but stayed back with me while everyone else went into town to explore. Then one of our friends got sick next. The cabin right after our busy MN trip just proved to be too much :(
We feel very lucky to have made such a good group of friends out here.
