Two Months!
Happy two months, Meredith Rose! You are so big at just over 11 lbs and just under 24 inches. You continue to be super alert and active and respond to your name. You like to talk, coo and smile at mommy and daddy but sometimes make us work for it. You are trying to perfect holding your head up and are reaching and grabbing at toys and clothes. You are very observant. You love to stare at lights and fans. We are having so much fun with you!
At your two month check up you were in the 96th percentile for height and 62nd percentile for weight. You push up and stand now when mommy burps you. You are eating every 3 hours during the day. You also slept your first 6 hour stretch at night and started to put yourself to sleep when we lay you down awake.
You also had more visitors this month! Grandpa Yahnke and Grandma Sue Sue and mommy's friend, Megan all came to meet you. You helped Grandpa Yahnke and daddy both celebrate birthdays. You also had your first caregivers while mommy started back at work very part-time.
You are a very happy baby and you love to "talk" to us. You are just starting to reach and grab for your toys. You also like playing with your crinkle paper and playing with shadows with your daddy. We took you on a beach walk and you were in your very first tide pool (in the carrier on daddy's back).
