Mer girl, we blinked and you are 8 months old! Your 8th month with us was a crazy one! We crammed in all things fall - even though as I write this post in the middle of December we are still enjoying the fall weather ;), we spent a week in Washington, DC and had visits from Alicia and grandma Nae.
This month was full of smiles and giggles. You love to scream!
Your new tricks include clapping your hands, signing for milk, saying "moo" when prompted. The signing for milk only lasted a few days ;) If I sign to you, you know what it means but you don't sign yourself. We aren't too worried about teaching you sign language as you are very vocal right now so we expect you to talk early enough.
You started baby gymnastics classes and love flipping, hanging and climbing all over. Your daddy even let go of you and you hung from your stroller all by yourself. Strong girl!
You still love your zany zoo toy and will chew on anything and everything.
You are becoming more and more mobile. You are scooting all over the place, mostly after your momma! Your scooting has improved so much and you are pulling yourself up on your toys - first to your knees and all the way up to your feet on the day you turned 8 months.
You are still up around two times a night. I don't think our trips and visitors have helped with that as we are getting in a bad habit of missing naps and keeping you out way too late. You are such a happy baby that it doesn't seem to bother you at all during the day but your tired mom can tell at night!
You are still breastfed about five times during the day and usually once (or twice) at night. We are giving you more and more food but are not consistent with it yet. You will eat anything that we put in front of you and you like to feed yourself with a loaded spoon. We introduced you to yogurt and it was a huge hit. You love yogurt, bananas and sweet potatoes.
We can't get enough of that smile!
